Stephan Pastis visited this morning and talked to the children about his books and the cartoon strip he creates for newspapers in the USA. The children were really inspired. Let's hope we have some budding cartoonists in our midst!

Year 1: Ugly bug ball day part 1...

Today we came dressed up for our party. Don't we look fantastic! 

We made our own flying insects. We flew them this morning to see whose could fly the furthest.

The furthest one flew 4m 48cm. What a long way!

We've been busy this morning preparing the food for our bug feast. We'll have some more photos to share later.
