School Clubs

We have a record number of clubs running this term and an excellent take up from the children. There a couple of requests for parents which would help us make them run smoothly:

1. All children will be dismissed from the main school door. This allows us to make sure each child goes home with a known parent or carer.

2. Please let us know via a written note if your child is allowed to walk home on their own.

3. Encourage your child to turn up! If they have asked to take part in an after school club we would like to see them there every week!

New Recruits!

We have welcomed 12 new children to our Nursery class this term. All have settled well in to their new school community. Eleven other children have also joined us in classes across the rest of the school.

Credit Union

A reminder that the Credit Union continues to visit the school each and every Wednesday morning for the children to deposit their money in to  savings account. New members are always welcome; forms for new members can be collected from the Credit Union volunteers on Wednesday mornings.

Sickness Bugs

There appears to be a sickness bug working its way through the school at the moment. Please remember that if a child has been sick or suffered from diarrhoea they should remain away from school for 48 hours from the last episode.

The Tour of Britain passes by the school!

The whole school took to the side of the road to see the Tour of Britain roll by today.
