Arriving at School…Please can parents of infant children let the children enter the building on their own in the mornings. This encourages their independence and helps reduce the crush by the infant cloakrooms!
Additional Dates…We can now confirm that the school Harvest Festival will be held at St Edmunds on Thursday 11th October at 10am. The school Carol Concert will be held at St Edmunds on Thursday 20th December at 10am.
Nursery/Reception Wild Walk…As this week’s Wild Walk clashes with the visit of the School Photographer, for this week only, can the children please wear school uniform. They will then have their photographs taken first.

Guitar Lessons…Mr Huw Chidgey, who already works with Kath Davies to deliver Thursday’s Shake, Rattle and Roll sessions, will be offering guitar lessons for children in years 5 and 6 from next week. These will take place on Thursdays at a cost of £5 per session (please note the amended price – the price quoted on last week’s newssheet was incorrect) Children will need their own guitars. If you are interested in letting your child participate please let the school office know. Places are still available.
